KDB+ Developer
Are you a KDB+ developer looking to take your skills to the next level? Our client, a top financial consulting firm, is looking for senior KDB+ developers to join their dynamic team.
In this role, you'll get to work on exciting projects for a growing portfolio of clients, and have the opportunity to flex your technical muscles in a well-defined ecosystem. We're looking for someone who's passionate about KDB+ development and has at least 2 years of experience under their belt.
As a KDB+ developer, you'll be responsible for providing technical leadership on client projects, leading technical teams to deliver projects on time and on budget, and defining technical architectures and solutions. You'll work with business users to define requirements for new application functionality, and be involved in developing, testing, supporting, and maintaining all code for client applications. You'll also analyse data and create reports for clients, incorporating all findings.
We're looking for someone who has experience defining and implementing KDB+ architectures, and who can deliver technical solutions to appropriate standards and methodologies. In-depth knowledge of creating and maintaining KDB+ solutions is a must, as well as experience delivering technical solutions in a Unix/Linux environment.
As the ideal candidate, you'll have demonstrable technical leadership and decision-making skills, and experience communicating and liaising with key stakeholders. You'll also have excellent communication skills and be capable of tailoring your messages to your audience. Additionally, you should have a desire to improve technically and maintain up-to-date with the latest advances.
It's a plus if you have experience working and delivering solutions in Capital Markets/Investment Banking and cloud architecture and development, but it's not essential.
