Job Brief:

They are in search of a highly skilled and seasoned Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, optimization, and review of sophisticated machine learning systems. This position demands a profound understanding of data engineering, software development, and machine learning serving.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of scalable machine learning models and algorithms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate machine learning technologies into their products and services.
  • Optimize existing machine learning systems for enhanced performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct comprehensive code reviews to ensure the highest standards of software development.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in machine learning, data engineering, and related fields.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices for machine learning.
  • Ensure alignment of machine learning solutions with business objectives.
  • Manage the deployment and maintenance of machine learning models in production environments.
Requirements

Must Have:

  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
  • Experience in system design, microservices, RestfulAPI, and gRPC.
  • Proficiency in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).
  • Familiarity with big data technologies and data engineering tools such as Spark, Kafka, Flink, etc.
  • Knowledge of machine learning serving technologies and k8s such as Kubeflow, KServe, BentoML, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, or in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to Have:

  • Experience with IoT systems or time-series data.
  • Building experience with compute-intensive, memory-intensive, and data-streaming applications is a plus.
