Job Description
The purpose of the role of Head of Data to drive Momentus' evolving digital transformation strategy, coordinating data and design effors across our technologyand external customers infrastructure to drive optimum business results.
This role will be responsible for developing a data warehouse to provide custom insights on major priorities, ensuring appropriate leverage of all available digital tools, platforms, technologies, services, and processes while continuing to monitor and evaluate return on investment.
This person will also be accountable for driving full integration and alignment between all functions, across Technology, Marketing, Sales, Customer Support, and Revenue.
Key Initiatives:
- Evaluate current digital positioning and develop a clearly defined, compelling, digital strategy for the company’s future; ensuring that all relevant digital initiatives are fully integrated into the strategic-planning process, facilitating business needs, leadership and other stakeholder commitment, resource allocation, and execution.
- Digitize internal processes and how the company interacts with the clients to drive product adoption including a new suite of business applications (NetSuite, Salesforce, Kantata, and a central data platform with real-time analytics).
- Build product telemetry to drive data-driven adoption and customer success processes.
- Successfully implement business applications and data platform, documentation, and standardization of internal processes, standing up Digital CSM.
- Digitize of internal processes, fully functional Digital CSM engagement with KB and some initial AI/ML towards customers.
- Proactively communicate strategy, roadmap, milestones, and outcomes for all deliverables to a global audience or partners and stakeholders.
- Ensure ongoing development and implementation of new innovative insights, business analytics tools, techniques, and processes.
- Collaborate with customers and technology teams to influence project prioritization.
Influence dependent organization's roadmaps by contributing to their planning documents and goal setting exercises. - Drive mindful discussion with business and technical stakeholders that lead to timely decisions.
- Make smart trade-off decisions balancing effort, delivery timelines, features, and technical constraints.
- Partner with executive stakeholders and appropriate teams to align product roadmaps with business needs.
- 10%-20% travel required
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in a similar role of leading data operations, launching digital platforms and leading a cutting-edge digital operation with a variety of integrated capabilities.
- Billingual in English and Russian
- Proven experience in leading successful digital transformation projects.
- Ability to plan and execute long-term strategy around driving awareness, engagement, experience, and monetization.
- Significant change management experience in either turnaround or fast-growth situations, both within an IT, and a consumer company, setting.
- International experience and appreciation of regional variations and nuances.
- Accustomed to working in a global environment involving multiple development sites in various time zones.
- Patience to navigate complex scenarios, collaborating to get buy-in, and diplomatically challenging the status-quo.
- Have an innovative and disruptive mindset, constantly looking forward.
- Expert-level experience with JIRA and PM Tools.
