About The Opportunity
NetDocuments is seeking a Product Manager to work closely with the engineering team responsible for developing PatternBuilder MAX – a product that combines a “no code” workflow automation toolkit with cutting-edge generative AI capabilities. The Product Manager will help oversee every aspect of product delivery, from initial ideation and roadmap prioritization to engineering execution and defining the go-to-market strategy. The Product Manager will report to the Sr Manager of Product Management. The Ideal candidate will have experience as an internal and external evangelist for product offerings and working with all departments of a company.
What Your Contributions Will Be
- Evaluates impact and opportunities of technology updates and changes, as they relate to the customer and to other products offered by NetDocuments
- Recommends the vision and scope of present and future solutions, including appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes
- Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information and participating in customer validation initiatives
- Assesses market landscape by evaluating competitive solutions and positioning
- Provides source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives
- Obtains product market share by working with sales director to develop product sales strategies
- Support the creation of investment and development plans by preparing return-on-investment analyses and establishing estimates and time schedules with engineering and IT partners
- Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production
- Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
- Other duties as assigned

What You Will Need For Success
- 3-5 years of legal technology, development, or product management experience
- Tech savvy and passionate about building products
- Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making
- Metrics-driven: Strong analytical and synthesis skills are a must, including the ability to absorb and process large amounts of data into actionable information
- Experience with best practice agile scrum development and lean startup principles
- Must be a strong writer and public speaker in front of large, senior groups
- Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties
Ideally You Will Have
- Passion for the intersection of generative AI and legal tech
- Experience with backlog management tools like Azure devOPS or Jira
- Experience interpreting analytics and logging data from tools like Splunk and Pendo.io
