RemoteAI services

Seller terms

What you agree to when you sell a service on RemoteAI. They complete our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

Last updated: November 4, 2026

1. Your service

You describe exactly what the buyer gets, the price, the delivery time and the revisions included. RemoteAI reviews every service before it goes live and may ask for changes or refuse it. We check that the scope is clear, that the price and delivery time are real, that the work is legal and that you can do it yourself. Automatic checks also block emails, phone numbers and links in service listings, offers, messages sent before an order, reviews and review replies. When we ask for changes or refuse a service, we tell you why. You only sell work you can deliver yourself and that you have the right to sell.

2. Selling as a professional

You must tell RemoteAI whether you sell as a professional (a company or a registered freelancer) or as a private individual, and keep this accurate. Until your service page shows your status, RemoteAI treats every seller as a professional towards EU consumers. Presenting yourself as a private individual when you act as a professional is a misleading practice that the law punishes, in France and in the European Union. If you sell as a professional to consumers, you give them the information the law requires (who you are, how to reach you, the price, the delivery time) and respect their rights, including the 14-day right to withdraw in the European Union described in the Buyer terms.

3. Fees

Listing is free. When you sell, RemoteAI keeps 10% of the order price, plus $1.50 on each order over $10. Founding Sellers pay no commission on their first 3 paid orders (only the fixed fee). The buyer pays a separate service fee.

4. Getting paid

The buyer pays when ordering and RemoteAI holds the payment. The money is yours once the buyer accepts the delivery. If the buyer does not respond, the delivery is accepted automatically 14 days after delivery. The money becomes payable 14 days after delivery, or 14 days after the buyer accepts for your first 3 sales. This protects against card fraud. It is then paid out by Stripe (US, UK, Europe, Canada, Switzerland) or by PayPal or Payoneer elsewhere; payout fees are shown on your Payouts page. A changed payout method is used after a 3-day security check.

5. Payments by Stripe

Payment processing services for sellers on RemoteAI are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Terms of Service (collectively, the "Stripe Services Agreement"). By agreeing to these terms or continuing to operate as a seller on RemoteAI, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as the same may be modified by Stripe from time to time. As a condition of RemoteAI enabling payment processing services through Stripe, you agree to provide RemoteAI accurate and complete information about you and your business, and you authorize RemoteAI to share it and transaction information related to your use of the payment processing services provided by Stripe.

This applies when you are paid through Stripe. RemoteAI is the merchant that charges the buyer's card; you are the provider of the service.

6. Refunds and chargebacks

If an order is refunded, or a buyer's bank reverses a payment (a chargeback), after money was set aside or paid to you for that order, RemoteAI may take the amount back from your pending earnings or your future payouts, or ask you to repay it. Where Stripe allows it, RemoteAI may reverse the transfer to your Stripe account. When a buyer's bank asks for proof, RemoteAI answers with the order record (the package, the messages and the delivery).

7. Delivery, revisions and issues

You deliver on time through RemoteAI and provide the revisions included in your package. If you do not deliver, deliver late and the buyer cancels, or the delivery does not match the package and cannot be fixed, the buyer is refunded and nothing is paid to you for that order. If a buyer opens an issue, RemoteAI reviews the package, the messages and the delivery and decides.

8. Everything stays on RemoteAI

Contact, ordering and payment for work found on RemoteAI stay on RemoteAI. Sharing emails, phone numbers or payment details to work outside the platform is not allowed and can lead to the removal of your services and account.

9. Your taxes

You are an independent seller. You are responsible for your own taxes, social contributions and declarations in your country; your earnings on RemoteAI may be taxable. If you live in France, see impots.gouv.fr and urssaf.fr; elsewhere, ask your local tax office. RemoteAI must report sellers' earnings to the tax authorities where the law requires it. Under DAC7 in the European Union, RemoteAI will ask sellers who live in the EU for their name, address, tax number, date of birth and bank details, report their yearly earnings to the French tax authority, and send each seller a copy of what is reported.

10. Quality and trust

Reviews are left by buyers after completed orders and cannot be bought or exchanged. You can reply once to each review, in public. RemoteAI may pause or remove services that receive repeated complaints, are late too often, or break these terms.

11. How services are ranked

The default order ("Recommended") uses these factors, from the most important to the least: first the founding services, then the best rated services (a rating counts fully from 3 reviews), then the most complete listings (an original and detailed description, an image), then the newest. Search and category pages use the same order among the services that match. Buyers can also sort by price or delivery time. No seller can pay to be ranked higher.

Founding Sellers are treated differently, and this is the only difference: the first 100 services approved on the marketplace are founding services and are shown first in the default order, their sellers keep the Founding Seller badge for life, they pay no commission on their first 3 paid orders, and they get a place in the launch showcase.

12. Data

For each order, you see what the buyer shares to get the work done: their name on RemoteAI, their answers to your questions, their messages and their files. Use it only for that order. You do not get buyers' payment details. RemoteAI keeps order records, messages and payment data to run the platform and as the law requires (accounting, tax, fraud), also after an account is closed. You can ask for a copy of your own data at any time. Our Privacy Policy explains the rest.

13. Your content

You keep the rights to what you write and upload for your services. You allow RemoteAI to show and promote your services and profile on RemoteAI and in RemoteAI's marketing, for as long as they are listed. You do not need to be on RemoteAI only: you can sell elsewhere, as long as work found on RemoteAI stays on RemoteAI.

14. Pausing, removing or closing

RemoteAI may pause or remove a service, limit your account or close it when you break these terms or the law, put buyers at risk, ask for payment outside RemoteAI, give false information about you or your work, deliver late or not at all too often, or receive repeated justified complaints. When we restrict or remove a service or an account, we tell you why at that time, and you can answer us to explain or fix the problem. Before closing your seller account for good, we give you 30 days notice, except when the law requires us to act at once or after serious or repeated breaches. Orders already paid are still delivered or refunded, and earnings you are owed are paid out, less any refunds or chargebacks.

15. Changes to these terms

We tell sellers about changes to these terms by email or by a message in your account at least 15 days before they apply, unless the law requires a change sooner. You can close your seller account before then if you do not agree.

16. Contact and complaints

For a question or a complaint about a decision we made, a review or these terms, write to [email protected] or use our Help Center. It is free.

17. The law that applies

These terms are governed by French law. Mandatory rules of the country where you live still apply where the law says so. Before going to court, please write to us so we can try to solve the problem together.
