AI Full Stack Software Developer (AI2 Incubator partner)
Substantial is seeking a mid- to senior-level software developer to deliver high-quality and user-centric features. You would be working with a startup building productivity-focused AI software that learns from data scientists and enables complex, generative interactions not possible with existing tools. We are contracting for this position.
Responsibilities
- Iterate and experiment to deliver a cutting-edge AI product
- Create engaging user experiences through Slack bots, Chrome extensions, and internal web apps
- Implement data integrations with Slack, Google Docs, and other tools
- Shape the end-to-end tech stack
- Understand user feedback to deliver an exceptional experience
Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience in a JavaScript or TypeScript front-end framework such as React
- Adaptable to different languages and infrastructure
- Experience with Python or cloud deployments is a bonus
- Passionate about building AI software and getting better every day
- Curious and collaborative
- Open to aligning broadly with the Pacific time zone for collaboration
