Professional Overview
I’m a nuclear physicist and engineering graduate student with a strong passion for software development, data analysis, and machine learning. While my academic background is rooted in experimental physics, I’ve consistently focused on the computational side of research: developing tools, simulations, and models that support real-world applications in radiation detection and particle physics.Currently, I’m working on the development of water Cherenkov detectors, where I explore the use of machine learning algorithms to classify pulse signals and improve detection efficiency. I enjoy building custom data pipelines, applying statistical models, and training neural networks using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.I have experience working with both low-level and high-level languages including C, C++, Python, and Bash, and I frequently use Git and GitHub for version control. I’m also comfortable with Jupyter, MATLAB, and modern IDEs. My long-term goal is to bridge the gap between physics and AI through applied research and software development.
