Professional Overview
I am AL YUSRA SIKANDER, currently pursuing my MTech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with a focus on AI/ML and data analytics at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT). My academic journey began with a BTech in CSE, where I developed a solid foundation in computer science and technology. During my BTech, I also honed my skills in web development, including React.js, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, through projects that involved creating dashboards and client-side applications.For my MTech dissertation, I am working on a project named MOODSIC.AI, which focuses on melody generation by mapping the sentiments of lyrics to a melody using advanced techniques like Markov chains and LSTMs. This project is a combination of my interest in AI and music, offering the potential to create personalized music based on emotional cues.In addition to my academic work, I have gained hands-on experience as a Teaching Assistant (TA) at JIIT. This role involved guiding students, facilitating lectures, and assisting with lab work, where I was able to share my passion for AI and machine learning with others. Through this experience, I not only strengthened my knowledge but also developed strong communication and leadership skills, helping students overcome academic challenges.
