I’m Asawir Shafiq Khokhar, an AI Engineer Intern at KryptoMind with a strong background in cloud engineering and AI-driven solutions. I graduated with a BS in Computer Science from the National University of Computing and Emerging Sciences (FAST-NUCES), Pakistan, where I developed a deep interest in artificial intelligence and cloud technologies.At KryptoMind, I’m currently working on Natural Language Processing (NLP) models and transformers to create advanced chatbots and applications. My journey in AI has been marked by hands-on experience with various machine learning technologies, including BERT, PyTorch, and Hugging Face Transformers. One of my notable projects is developing a Gradio-based website that classifies tweets into six bullying categories, utilizing BERT with a FastAPI and MongoDB backend.Previously, I gained valuable experience as a Cloud Engineer Trainee at DigitalOcean, where I managed Linux servers and cloud infrastructure, ensuring efficient and secure operations. My role as a Machine Learning Intern at QuidSol allowed me to dive deeper into AI, working on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) for object detection and image processing tasks.In addition to my AI and cloud expertise, I have a solid foundation in full-stack web development and app development. My skills include developing responsive front-end interfaces, as demonstrated during my internship at TopCamp, and creating robust backend systems with FastAPI and Flask.I’ve also achieved several certifications that validate my skills, including expertise in deploying, optimizing, and managing web applications via NGINX, as well as system administration and Linux web services. These certifications complement my practical experience and drive to continually enhance my technical abilities.Some of my key projects include creating a RAG Chatbot using LangChain and Sentence Transformers, integrating it with Chroma DB for content retrieval, and developing a Travel Chatbot using RASA that provides travel options based on user preferences, including real-time flight data integration.My career is fueled by a passion for AI and a commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technologies to create innovative solutions.
