I’m Gabe, a software developer and founder of GDG Quantum Inc., where I focus on building AI-driven tools and automation systems that make life easier and work faster. My core stack is Python, TypeScript, Docker, Firebase, and React/Next.js, backed by years of experience with workflow automation, SharePoint, and VBA macros in the engineering and document control world. I use AI tools like Claude and OpenAI as accelerators, not replacements. I approach them the same way I would a junior teammate: I provide the architecture, break problems into steps, document thoroughly, and debug until the system is production-ready. I’ve built Resum8, an AI-powered resume tool that helps people land interviews, Aegis, a cybersecurity simulator where AI defends in real time, and HelpQo, a skilled-worker marketplace for the Philippines. Before that, I automated workflows at Pembina Pipeline, cutting reconciliation time from six hours to five minutes and building real-time KPI dashboards that gave managers live visibility into workloads. What drives me is efficiency, scalability, and building software that actually works for people in the real world. If a process is broken, tedious, or stuck in spreadsheets, I’ll find a way to fix it — and I’ll make sure it’s built to last.
