Professional Overview
I'm a PhD researcher at Khalifa University (Abu Dhabi) working on diffusion models and deep learning for medical image processing. I build and train models end to end in PyTorch: diffusion models and U-Nets for medical imaging, on my own 2x RTX 4090 workstation. Before my PhD I trained reinforcement-learning policies at DiDi, where my model improved a key business metric by 0.87% in the Mexico market. Two Best Paper awards (IWSSIP 2024, iWRF&AT 2024). I help teams with computer vision and generative-model prototypes, model training and evaluation, reproducible ML pipelines, and expert AI training/evaluation tasks. Based in GMT+4, overlapping with Europe and Asia.
