What fascinates me most is the transition from generative AI to agentic AI. We are moving away from models that just "chat" and toward systems that can reason and act. Coming from a background in mathematics and competitive programming, I enjoy the logic required to decompose a complex human task—like parsing financial records or conducting research—into a series of executable steps for an LLM. I’m particularly interested in RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and how we can use it to ground AI in "truth" (like IRS Form 990 data) to eliminate hallucinations. The ability to build a system that can autonomously navigate the web, collect data, and provide a structured insight is, to me, the most exciting frontier in software today.
