“Write a poem on Ninja Hatori”, this was one of the first prompts I had given to ChatGPT. The AI tool wrote a fine 27-line output which left me in strong thoughts for the next 3 days. I was too astonished and happy to believe the innovations in the Artificial Intelligence space. Amazingly, I got my first internship with the Credits and Risk Analytics department in the Artificial Intelligence and Engineering team at HDFC, where I got the opportunity and freedom to research about the working of LLMs, and their capabilities and limitations.Since then, my passion for technology grew and I focused on strengthening fundamentals in Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Data Science. I decided to work on the same lines in my Major Technical Project at IIT Mandi and had trained models to reduce hallucinations and inculcate citations in the output. Apart from this, I love doing one thing that AI can’t - gaining experiences. I was blessed with the golden opportunity to spend an amazing exchange semester at the Technical University of Munich in Germany. I got to travel to 11 countries, meet and empathise with exciting people from different cultural backgrounds, experience the German education system and grow out of my comfort zone. I had also been an active member of several clubs and societies of my college and hence had the remarkable pleasure to represent IIT Mandi in all the three types of Inter IIT Meets (Technical, Sports and Cultural).I love solving problems - be it bugs in the code, handling the unexpected problems in a fest, or organizing my wardrobe. Fun fact: I had an interesting solution to the last problem - to make a digital wardrobe app. This was how my first startup was born, which was dandled by the iHub catalyst. (Currently, it’s on a pause but that is a story for another time.)P.S. I don’t drink coffee (or tea), but I always have my ears and DM open for any interesting conversation on the table. Also, I love sports - and would enjoy interacting during a table tennis match!
