Professional Overview
I am located in Linz, Austria, and I'm currently seeking an internship for summer 2024. I speak German at a C1 level, English at a B2 level, and have basic proficiency in Chinese (A1). I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence (GPA of 3.11) from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz, where I had the privilege to be taught by Sepp Hochreiter (LSTM) himself. Currently, I am enrolled in the Master's curriculum of Artificial Intelligence with specialization track AI in Life Sciences. In my studies of AI in life sciences I already completed courses about Sequence Analysis, Genome Analysis and Transcriptomics and Structural Bioinformatics. My Bachelor Thesis was a cooperation with the Medical University of Vienna where I worked on improving diagnostic algorithms by leveraging synthetic data produced by Generative AI. Throughout my education, I worked on practical projects, collaborated with industry partners, and conducted research in AI, providing me with a strong foundation to tackle complex challenges in this field. Additionally, I am skilled in tools and technologies including Python, R, MATLAB, and PyTorch. I am eager to apply my academic knowledge and practical skills to projects in the healthcare sector.
