We're a mid-size mobile game studio. Our game is an open-world RPG where we want procedurally generated quests and dungeons that feel authored — not obviously random, not obviously formulaic.
We need an AI developer to build a PCG system for quest generation: the system takes player history (what they've done, how they play, what they seem to enjoy) and generates contextually relevant quests with varied structures.
We've looked at LLM approaches, constraint-based systems and ML-trained generators. We don't have a fixed technical opinion — we want someone who has done this before and can recommend the right approach for our scale and player base.
Game AI experience is strongly preferred. We are not looking for someone who wants to experiment on our production game.
