About the role

We're building AI tools for motion designers — automated keyframe suggestions, style-consistent animation generation, and intelligent asset library search. Our users are motion graphics professionals working in advertising agencies, and they need AI that understands design language, not just pixels. This freelance role is for someone who knows both computer vision and creative tools. You'll build the models that power our animation suggestion engine: given a static design, predict natural motion paths, suggest timing curves, and generate transition options that match the project's style. Engagements are scoped in 6-week blocks with clear deliverables. You'll work with our product team on requirements and our senior ML engineer on implementation strategy. Responsibilities

  • Build computer vision models for animation path and timing prediction
  • Design style-matching algorithms for consistent motion generation
  • Evaluate model outputs with professional motion designers
  • Deliver production-quality code in 6-week engagement blocks

Requirements

  • 3+ years in computer vision or generative AI
  • Strong PyTorch skills for vision model development
  • Interest in design, animation, or creative applications
  • Experience with video or temporal sequence modeling
