AI Multi-Agent Orchestration Framework Developer

About the role

What happens when five specialized agents need to agree on one final answer? That's the coordination problem our retrieval and context-window teams keep running into as we add more specialized LLM agents to a single workflow. You'll build the orchestration framework that routes tasks between agents, resolves conflicting outputs, and manages shared context without duplicating the context compression work our other teams have already built. We expect you to prototype against recent multi-agent coordination research, but everything you build needs to run in production within our existing retrieval and prompt routing infrastructure, not sit in a notebook.

Responsibilities

  • Build a multi-agent orchestration framework for task routing and conflict resolution
  • Integrate with existing context window and prompt routing infrastructure
  • Prototype coordination strategies grounded in recent multi-agent research
  • Benchmark orchestration overhead against single-agent baselines
  • Document agent handoff protocols for other teams to build on

Requirements

  • Deep experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or comparable agent frameworks
  • Strong understanding of RAG and prompt routing architectures
  • Comfortable with Kubernetes and Docker for production LLM deployment
  • Able to read and implement recent agent coordination research
