Junior AI Packaging Label Print Quality Analyst

About the role

We serve consumer packaged goods manufacturers who can't afford a single mislabeled or smudged print run reaching store shelves. We already inspect welds, surfaces, and microscopy images across other product lines; what's missing is a dedicated print quality check for packaging labels moving through high-speed print lines. In this junior role you'll help label training images from real print runs and validate detection model outputs against physical samples pulled off the line, working on-site alongside senior computer vision engineers who will walk you through how print defect patterns actually show up in the data.

Responsibilities

  • Label training images from real packaging print runs
  • Validate detection model outputs against physical label samples
  • Support senior engineers in tuning print defect detection thresholds
  • Document defect patterns observed on the print line

Requirements

  • Basic Python and computer vision fundamentals
  • Comfortable working on-site around industrial print equipment
  • Attention to detail when reviewing physical samples
