About the role

The models you fine-tune will sit directly in the API layer that thousands of developer accounts call every day. Fast-moving team, real production stakes, no room for models that regress quietly. What we have already: strong base models and solid API infrastructure. What's missing: someone who can fine-tune those models for our highest-traffic use cases and measure the impact rigorously before anything ships.

Responsibilities

  • Fine-tune base models for high-traffic API use cases
  • Build evaluation harnesses to catch quality regressions
  • Work with Hugging Face and PyTorch training pipelines
  • Benchmark fine-tuned models against baseline performance
  • Document fine-tuning recipes for future iterations

Requirements

  • 5+ years working hands-on with LLM fine-tuning
  • Strong PyTorch and Hugging Face experience
  • Familiarity with LangChain or similar orchestration tools
  • Comfortable working within AWS-based infrastructure
  • Track record of measurable production model improvements
