Professional Overview
I am a graduate of the three-year Computer Engineering Technology program of Algonquin College in Ottawa, Canada. I have worked in the electronics manufacturing sector in Ottawa for ten years, where I was always acknowledged for my interpersonal skills and my ability to communicate and express myself. That is why I was often selected to train new employees and deal with clients within the capacity of my job whenever needed. In 2009, I moved to Egypt and started a career in education. Throughout my years in education, I was fortunate to be given the opportunity to teach a variety of subjects under both the American and British education systems. Because of the diversity of my teaching background and professional career, I was selected for the study hall supervisor position at MES where I was supporting year 11 and year 12 students academically and personally. At this point, I can confidently say that I am able to teach students in an inspiring way which will positively impact their personal as well as their academic skills. Since the advent of AI, my strong interest in the latest advancements in technology has made it very hard for me resist the temptation to restart my career in technology, especially in the very exciting field of AI. To that end, and equipped with my commended skill of self-learning, I have been working continuously on supplementing my knowledge base and skills to be able to work in the field of AI. I have been working hard on learning Python as a main tool for AI development by enrolling in online practical courses, researching and reading the latest literature. Additionally, I have also been learning about other aspects of AI such as deep learning, LLMs, NLP and AGI. In March of 2024, I started working as an AGI domain expert for the domains of math and formal sciences. As an AI tutor, I was Training AI models by designing conversations that implement feedback loops for iterative training. As I am fully aware that this is just a first step in my career in AI, I am confident that my dedication, work ethics, strong belief in life-long learning and strong interest in the field will be the driving forces toward success in this field.
