About the role

PyTorch is nowhere near as central to what we build as our multi-agent orchestration layer is. If you've spent time chaining LLM agents together and watched them silently fail halfway through a task, you already understand why this role exists. You'll build automated recovery and retry workflows for our agent framework, so a failed tool call or a malformed response doesn't require a human to manually restart the whole pipeline. You'll work directly with the two engineers who built our current orchestration layer, with real room to redesign the parts that don't scale.

Responsibilities

  • Build automated retry and recovery logic for agent workflows
  • Reduce manual intervention needed after failed tool calls
  • Instrument agent pipelines with MLflow for observability
  • Collaborate on redesigning brittle orchestration components

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience building LLM agent or workflow systems
  • Hands-on experience with LangChain and RAG pipelines
  • Comfortable with Kubernetes-based deployments
  • Experience debugging distributed multi-step pipelines
