About the role

Traditional AML systems generate 95% false positive alerts. Compliance analysts spend their days reviewing transactions that aren't suspicious, while actual money laundering flows through undetected. Our ML approach cuts false positives by 70% while catching laundering patterns that rules-based systems miss entirely. You'll build the next generation of our detection models: graph-based analysis of transaction networks, temporal pattern recognition across account histories, and adaptive thresholds that adjust to client-specific risk profiles. Each model improvement means fewer wasted analyst hours and more actual criminals caught. We work with 12 banks across North America. The regulatory environment is strict — every model decision needs to be explainable to FinCEN examiners. If you can build accurate models and explain them to regulators, you're exactly who we need.

Fully remote.

  • Ability to explain model decisions to non-technical regulatory audiences
