AI API Usage Pattern Insight Engineer

About the role

We're building the next generation of AI-powered developer experience tools, and our API usage logs hold more product signal than our surveys ever will. You'll mine usage pattern data across millions of API calls to surface which endpoints developers struggle with, where documentation gaps cause drop-off, and which features are quietly abandoned after first try. Your findings will feed directly into our developer experience roadmap each quarter.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large-scale API usage logs to surface developer friction points
  • Own reporting pipelines built on Databricks for usage analytics
  • Partner with product and docs teams on prioritization decisions
  • Present quarterly insight reports to leadership

Requirements

  • 6+ years in data science or product analytics
  • Strong SQL and experience with Databricks or similar platforms
  • Track record turning usage data into product decisions
  • Experience in developer tools or API-first products a plus
