About the role
Law firm. 200 lawyers. Every month we receive 1,800+ supplier invoices and process them manually — checking billing against matter codes, validating timekeeper rates, flagging discrepancies.
This takes 3 full-time people. It shouldn't.
We need an AI pipeline that reads incoming invoices (PDF and email), extracts line items, validates against our rate card and matter codes, flags anomalies for human review, and pushes clean invoices to our accounting system (Elite 3E).
Confidentiality is not optional — everything runs on our Azure tenancy, no third-party data sharing. All prompts and outputs stay on-prem.
Requirements
Technical stack needed for this mission.
- – Experience building legal or financial document extraction pipelines
- – Azure OpenAI deployment experience (not just OpenAI API)
- – Has built validation logic against structured rule sets
- – Understands law firm billing (timekeepers, matter codes, UTBMS codes is a bonus)
- – Can sign a strong NDA
