About the role

Our research pipelines still involve too many manual handoffs between data collection and analysis. Fast-moving team. Big problem. We need someone who ships automated workflows that stitch together ingestion, transformation, and delivery without babysitting. You'll design and operate the ETL pipelines that keep our research datasets fresh, using Airflow and containerized jobs on AWS. The small team here moves quickly and expects ownership from day one — no lengthy approval chains, just clean, dependable automation that runs while we sleep.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full ETL pipeline from ingestion through delivery to research teams
  • Containerize and deploy scheduled jobs with Airflow and Docker
  • Monitor pipeline health and cut manual intervention wherever possible

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Airflow, Docker, and AWS in production
  • Solid Python skills for building and debugging data pipelines
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal process overhead
