About the role

Versioned datasets, licensing terms, and a growing pile of external benchmark sources are the core of what we manage. We already have dozens of benchmark datasets in active use, but no central system tracking which ones have licensing terms expiring soon or usage restrictions we're at risk of violating. This role builds the tracker that flags licensing risk before it becomes a legal problem, working closely with the eval research team on which datasets matter most.

Responsibilities

  • Build a tracker for benchmark dataset licensing terms and expirations
  • Flag datasets at risk of license violation before use
  • Maintain a central registry of dataset provenance and terms

Requirements

  • 3+ years working with data pipelines or dataset management
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting licensing terms
  • Available for a focused contract engagement
