AI Campaign Asset Tagging Engineer

About the role

You'll be the second AI specialist on a creative team of six, working alongside art directors who currently tag and organize thousands of creative assets by hand before every campaign review. We already have a solid creative asset scoring system that tells us which images perform best, but finding a specific past asset by style, color palette, or subject still means scrolling through folders. What's missing is automated tagging that makes our entire asset library instantly searchable by the attributes that actually matter for campaign planning. This is a freelance engagement to start, with real potential to grow into an ongoing collaboration if the fit is right.

Responsibilities

  • Build automated tagging for style, color palette, and subject attributes
  • Work with the creative team to define the tagging taxonomy that matters to them
  • Integrate tagging output with the existing asset scoring pipeline
  • Iterate quickly based on how art directors actually search for assets
  • Backfill tags across the existing historical asset library

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with computer vision or image classification
  • Experience building searchable metadata systems
  • Comfortable defining taxonomy alongside non-technical creatives
  • Portfolio of past asset tagging or classification work a plus
  • Ability to iterate quickly on freelance timelines
