AI Claims Adjuster Copilot Product Manager

About the role

We work with 14 regional property and casualty carriers, and their field adjusters spend nearly half of each claim on paperwork. Quilvex Systems builds the copilot that drafts their reserve notes, summarizes recorded statements and checks coverage language against the policy on file. The product is live with three carriers and the feedback is clear: adjusters love the summaries but don't yet trust the coverage suggestions. As the product manager for the copilot, you'll decide what we build next and how we earn that trust. That means sitting with adjusters during real claims, defining evaluation criteria with our applied AI team, and making hard calls about where a human must stay in the loop. Our clients are regulated and audited, so traceability is part of the product, not an afterthought.

Responsibilities

  • Own the copilot roadmap and prioritize across carriers with different claim workflows
  • Partner with applied AI engineers to define evaluation sets for coverage and summary quality
  • Shadow adjusters quarterly and turn observations into specific product changes
  • Drive adoption metrics and present outcomes to carrier claims leadership

Requirements

  • Product management experience on an AI or LLM-based product that reached real users
  • Working knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation and its failure modes
  • Background in insurance, claims or another regulated industry
  • Comfortable writing SQL to answer your own product questions
