AI Classroom Video Behavior Pattern Analyst

About the role

Our tools are used by school districts trying to understand classroom dynamics beyond test scores alone, and teachers keep telling us the same thing: they want to know what's actually happening in the room, not just who scored what on the last quiz. You will build computer vision models that analyze anonymized, opt-in classroom video to surface behavior patterns like engagement dips or group work imbalances, giving teachers actionable, privacy-respecting insight. This on-site role is based at our headquarters, working closely with our education research team and privacy officer to make sure every model decision respects student privacy by design.

Responsibilities

  • Build computer vision models detecting classroom engagement and behavior patterns
  • Work with the privacy officer to ensure all processing meets strict anonymization requirements
  • Partner with education researchers to validate that patterns map to meaningful outcomes
  • Design dashboards that give teachers actionable, non-judgmental insight
  • Support pilot programs with partner school districts

Requirements

  • 3+ years in applied computer vision or education technology
  • Strong Python and SQL skills
  • Experience working with privacy-sensitive data
  • Genuine interest in improving classroom outcomes
