About the role

Clinical trials generate massive volumes of structured and unstructured data — lab results, adverse event reports, patient diaries, imaging reads. Our platform uses ML to accelerate how pharmaceutical companies analyze this data, cutting months from the typical trial timeline. You'll build predictive models for patient stratification, adverse event forecasting, and enrollment optimization. The data is complex — high-dimensional, censored, and subject to rigorous regulatory standards. Every model you ship will be reviewed by biostatisticians and submitted to the FDA as part of regulatory filings. We need someone who understands both the ML and the clinical context. You'll work directly with medical directors to ensure your models are clinically meaningful, not just statistically significant. If you've worked with clinical trial data and you know the difference between efficacy and effectiveness, this role will challenge you.

Responsibilities

  • Build predictive models for patient stratification and adverse event forecasting
  • Design feature engineering pipelines for clinical trial datasets
  • Collaborate with biostatisticians on model validation for regulatory submissions
  • Present findings to medical directors and clinical operations teams
  • Ensure models meet FDA/EMA regulatory documentation standards

Requirements

  • 5+ years in data science with clinical or healthcare experience
  • Strong Python, scikit-learn, and PyTorch skills
  • Experience with survival analysis and clinical trial endpoints
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards for AI in clinical trials
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
