AI Clinical Decision Support Analyst

About the role

Our clinical decision support system is used by 40 hospitals, and every model prediction affects real patient care. As a junior analyst, your job is to make sure those predictions are right — and to catch it quickly when they're not. You'll monitor model performance dashboards, investigate prediction accuracy across different patient populations, build reports for hospital quality committees, and maintain the feedback loop between clinical outcomes and model retraining triggers. When a model's accuracy drops below threshold, you're the first to know and the first to escalate. This is a quality assurance role for healthcare AI — meticulous, important, and deeply satisfying when you catch a problem before it affects a patient. You'll learn clinical data, healthcare operations, and AI quality methodology simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor model performance dashboards across 40 hospital deployments
  • Investigate prediction accuracy variations across patient populations
  • Build quality reports for hospital clinical committees
  • Maintain feedback loops between clinical outcomes and model retraining
  • Escalate accuracy degradation and coordinate with ML team on fixes

Requirements

  • Python proficiency with pandas and basic scikit-learn
  • SQL skills for querying clinical outcome databases
  • Understanding of basic statistics for accuracy analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and systematic monitoring approach
  • Interest in healthcare AI and patient safety
