About the role

Every production incident ends with an engineer who just spent six hours firefighting being asked to write a clear, blameless postmortem while exhausted. This role builds the assistant that drafts a first-pass postmortem from incident timeline data, Slack threads, and monitoring logs, so the on-call engineer edits instead of starting from a blank page.

Fully remote.

Responsibilities

  • Build an assistant that drafts postmortems from incident data
  • Integrate timeline, Slack, and monitoring log inputs
  • Iterate on draft quality based on on-call engineer feedback

Requirements

  • 5+ years in infrastructure engineering or SRE-adjacent roles
  • Experience with LLM-based document generation
  • Comfortable working async on a distributed team
