About the role

What we have already: years of social listening data across thousands of brand communities. What's missing: a single, trustworthy score that tells a brand manager whether their community is thriving or quietly dying. That's what you'll build in this role, combining engagement rate, sentiment trend, and member churn into a health score brand teams check every Monday morning. You'll spend your first few weeks in the raw data getting familiar with how messy real community data can be before writing a single line of scoring logic.

Responsibilities

  • Build the community health scoring pipeline combining engagement, sentiment, and churn signals
  • Write SQL and pandas pipelines to clean and join data from multiple community platforms
  • Validate score accuracy against brand manager feedback each sprint
  • Document scoring logic clearly enough for non-technical teammates to explain it to clients

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Python and pandas for data manipulation
  • Comfortable writing SQL queries against relational data
  • Some exposure to sentiment analysis or engagement metrics
  • Strong attention to data quality issues
