About the role

Regulatory compliance isn't a one-time checkbox — it's continuous monitoring. When regulations change, companies need to know immediately which of their processes, products, and disclosures are affected. Our monitoring platform tracks regulatory feeds across 40 jurisdictions and automatically maps regulatory changes to client-specific compliance requirements. You'll build the monitoring engine: ingesting regulatory updates from government feeds and legal databases, classifying changes by affected domain and severity, mapping changes to client compliance frameworks, and generating impact assessments that compliance teams can act on before enforcement deadlines. Regulatory text is uniquely challenging for NLP — it's written in dense legal language, references other regulations by number, and a single word change can completely alter an obligation. You'll need to build systems that understand regulatory context deeply enough to distinguish meaningful changes from editorial corrections.

Responsibilities

  • Build regulatory change monitoring across 40 jurisdictions
  • Classify regulatory updates by affected domain and compliance severity
  • Map regulatory changes to client-specific compliance frameworks
  • Generate impact assessments for compliance teams with deadline tracking
  • Distinguish meaningful regulatory changes from editorial corrections

Requirements

  • 5+ years in NLP or compliance technology
  • Strong LangChain and Python skills for text analysis pipelines
  • SQL proficiency for regulatory and compliance databases
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance workflows
  • Experience with production monitoring systems and alerting
