About the role

Our clients include compliance teams at regional banks who need every flagged transaction narrative to be explainable in plain language during an examiner review. Reliability and auditability are non-negotiable in this line of work. As Senior AI Compliance NLP Engineer, you'll build the language models that generate examiner-ready summaries from raw transaction monitoring alerts, and you'll validate every output against real regulatory feedback from past exams. You'll partner closely with our fraud data science team, since the summaries you generate sit downstream of their detection models.

Responsibilities

  • Build NLP models generating examiner-ready alert summaries
  • Validate summary outputs against past regulatory feedback
  • Partner with fraud data science on detection model handoffs
  • Maintain prompt version history for compliance audits

Requirements

  • 6+ years of NLP engineering experience
  • Experience with Hugging Face and LangChain in production
  • Familiarity with financial compliance or AML workflows
  • Strong statistics background for output validation
