AI Concert Setlist Recommendation Engineer

Audrey Fischer

Full-time · Job · Berlin

About the role

The setlists you'll help generate get used by touring artists planning shows for audiences of up to twenty thousand people a night, and getting the energy arc wrong costs real ticket revenue on the next tour. You will build a recommendation engine that suggests setlist ordering based on a given venue's audience demographics, historical crowd response data, and the artist's own catalog, balancing crowd favorites against new material the artist wants to showcase. You'll work with our music data team and get direct feedback loops with touring artist management teams who use the tool before every major show.

Responsibilities

  • Build a setlist recommendation engine incorporating venue and audience signals
  • Model historical crowd response data to predict energy arc effectiveness
  • Balance crowd-favorite weighting against artist-requested new material

  • Continuously refine recommendations using post-show response data

Requirements

  • 3+ years building recommendation systems
  • Strong PyTorch and Python skills
  • Experience with LangChain or similar tooling for structured recommendation logic
  • Interest in music and live entertainment a plus

Benefits

  • Fully remote position
  • Competitive salary and equity
