About the role

We're a content marketing agency that just went all-in on AI. Half our team is excited. Half is terrified. Both halves need someone who can show them how AI-assisted content creation actually works — not in theory, but in their daily workflows. We're looking for a freelance AI content strategist to spend 3 months embedding with our team. You'll audit our content production pipeline, identify where LLMs can add value without sacrificing quality, build prompt templates for common content types, and train our writers to use them effectively. The deliverable isn't just a set of prompts — it's a changed team. By the end of the engagement, our 12 content writers should be producing 30% more output at the same quality bar, using AI tools they actually understand and trust.

Fully remote.

Responsibilities

  • Audit the content production pipeline and identify AI automation opportunities
  • Build prompt templates for blog posts, case studies, and social media content
  • Train 12 content writers on effective AI-assisted writing workflows
  • Measure and report on productivity and quality impact metrics
  • Deliver a playbook for maintaining AI content practices after engagement ends

Requirements

  • 3+ years in content strategy or content marketing
  • Hands-on experience using LLMs for professional content creation
  • Ability to build effective prompts and evaluate output quality
  • Training and facilitation skills for non-technical audiences
  • Portfolio demonstrating AI-enhanced content workflows
