AI Content Translation Engineer

About the role

We believe language shouldn't be a barrier to good content, and our localization tools already serve teams translating documentation into a dozen languages a day. You'll be the fourth engineer on our localization team, working alongside translation memory and language quality specialists who've built most of the underlying infrastructure already. Your focus will be narrower: building a content translation layer using Hugging Face models and LangChain that plugs into that existing infrastructure. This is a part-time role, roughly 20 hours a week, well suited to someone balancing this with other commitments or studies.

Responsibilities

  • Build a content translation layer using Hugging Face models
  • Integrate with existing translation memory infrastructure
  • Use pandas to analyze translation quality metrics
  • Support the language quality team with edge case reviews

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience with NLP or translation tooling
  • Familiarity with Hugging Face models
  • Basic LangChain experience is a plus
  • Available for roughly 20 hours per week
