AI Contract Analytics Engineer

About the role

Our mission is to give operations teams visibility into contract obligations they currently track in spreadsheets and shared drives. This role turns that mission into a working analytics layer. You'll build retrieval-augmented pipelines that extract obligations, deadlines, and renewal terms from contract documents our clients already have, then surface analytics on top: which vendors are trending toward late renewals, which clauses appear most often, and where risk is concentrated. This sits on top of our existing document workflow architecture, exposed through FastAPI services that other teams already depend on.

Responsibilities

  • Build RAG pipelines extracting obligations and terms from contracts
  • Design analytics surfacing renewal risk and clause trends
  • Expose new capabilities through existing FastAPI services
  • Work with the document workflow architecture team on integration

Requirements

  • 5+ years building NLP or document analytics systems
  • Strong experience with LangChain, RAG, and Hugging Face models
  • Comfortable working within an existing FastAPI service architecture
  • Experience with legal or contract data is a plus
