About the role

Ravio Tech's platform automates QA processes for software teams shipping fast. We've built strong test data generation and synthetic data tooling — the next capability is contract testing: automatically generating and validating API contracts between services to catch integration regressions before they reach production. In this contract engagement, you'll build the ML-assisted contract test generation layer. You'll develop models that infer implicit API contracts from request/response logs, generate test cases that probe boundary conditions and schema edge cases, and build the validation pipeline that runs generated tests against staging environments. You'll work with our QA automation engineers who understand the test infrastructure and with product to define the client-facing contract coverage report format. This is a 4-month engagement scoped around a production-ready contract test generation feature. If you've worked in API testing, service contract validation, or ML-assisted code analysis, you'll know the domain well.

Responsibilities

  • Build ML models that infer API contracts from historical request/response logs
  • Generate contract test cases covering boundary conditions and schema edge cases
  • Build validation pipelines that run generated tests against staging environments
  • Develop contract coverage reporting for client-facing dashboards
  • Deliver clean documentation and handoff materials at engagement end

Requirements

  • 3+ years software or QA automation engineering experience
  • Familiarity with contract testing patterns (Pact, consumer-driven contracts)
  • Strong Python skills
  • Experience with API testing frameworks
  • Docker-based deployment experience
