AI Conversational Analytics Lead

About the role

Have you ever wondered what 50 million chatbot conversations can tell you about product-market fit? We have the data, and we're building the analytics layer to extract those insights. Our chatbot platform serves 340 enterprise clients, generating 2 million conversations daily. The raw transcripts sit in a data lake. The insights don't extract themselves. As Conversational Analytics Lead, you'll define what we measure and how we surface it. That means building NLP pipelines for intent classification, sentiment tracking, topic clustering, and escalation prediction. But it also means translating those signals into dashboards that product managers and customer success teams actually use to make decisions. You'll lead a small analytics pod — one data scientist and one frontend developer — and report to the Chief Product Officer. This isn't a research role; every model you build needs to show up in the product within 6 weeks or it gets deprioritized.

Responsibilities

  • Define the conversational analytics roadmap aligned with product goals
  • Build NLP pipelines for intent classification, sentiment, and topic clustering
  • Design dashboards that translate conversation signals into actionable insights
  • Lead a pod of two direct reports: one data scientist and one frontend dev
  • Partner with customer success to identify high-value analytics features
  • Set quality benchmarks and monitor model performance in production

Requirements

  • 6+ years in NLP or text analytics with at least 2 years in a lead role
  • Production experience with text classification, clustering, and sentiment models
  • Strong SQL skills and experience building analytics dashboards
  • Ability to translate business questions into measurable data problems
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members
