About the role

The audits you'll help build directly protect ordinary website visitors from having their data collected without real, informed consent — not just a checkbox nobody reads. Wolvex Cloud already automates GDPR compliance checks and cross-border data transfer audits for enterprise clients. Cookie and tracking consent is the next area we want to audit automatically, since manual consent banner reviews don't scale past a handful of client websites. In this role you'll build the tool that scans client websites, identifies tracking technologies in use, and checks whether actual consent collection matches what's declared in the privacy policy.

Fully remote.

Responsibilities

  • Build a tool scanning client websites for tracking technologies in use
  • Cross-reference detected tracking against declared consent policies
  • Flag mismatches between actual tracking behavior and privacy policy claims
  • Build reporting for compliance teams to act on audit findings
  • Support client onboarding for the new consent audit feature

Requirements

  • Python and SQL fundamentals
  • Interest in privacy engineering and data protection
  • FastAPI or similar web framework experience
  • Comfort learning GDPR and privacy regulation basics on the job
  • 0-2 years experience welcome
