About the role

AI-generated content has a sameness problem. Every brand's AI output looks and reads the same way because they all use the same tools with the same default settings. Our creative studio breaks that pattern — we build bespoke generative AI workflows that produce content with genuine creative identity, not generic AI flavor. As AI creative director, you'll lead client creative engagements: understanding their brand aesthetic, designing custom generation workflows that produce on-brand visuals and copy, and building the quality control systems that ensure consistency across thousands of generated assets. You'll manage a team of 4 prompt engineers and work directly with client creative teams. This is a creative leadership role in a technical company. You'll need enough technical skill to design prompt architectures and enough creative judgment to know when AI output is genuinely good versus merely competent. The best candidate thinks like a creative director and builds like an engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Lead creative strategy for bespoke AI content generation workflows
  • Design custom prompt architectures for brand-specific visual and copy generation
  • Manage a team of 4 prompt engineers across multiple client engagements
  • Build quality control systems ensuring brand consistency across generated assets
  • Present creative strategies and results to client creative leadership

Requirements

  • 6+ years in creative direction with generative AI experience
  • Hands-on prompt engineering skills for both text and image generation
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating AI-assisted creative work
  • Team leadership experience managing creative technologists
  • Ability to communicate creative concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
