About the role

We just closed a major enterprise deal that requires us to prove every cross-border data transfer request gets routed to the correct legal reviewer within a fixed SLA, and our current manual queue can't guarantee that. We need a senior engineer to build a routing system that classifies each request by data type, destination jurisdiction, and urgency, then assigns it to the right reviewer automatically. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies in financial services, so auditability and correctness are non-negotiable — every routing decision needs a clear, reviewable trail.

Responsibilities

  • Build a classification and routing system for transfer approval requests
  • Design audit trails covering every automated routing decision
  • Partner with legal and compliance stakeholders on edge cases

Requirements

  • 5+ years building data governance or compliance automation systems
  • Strong sql and workflow orchestration experience with airflow
  • Comfortable working with legal and compliance stakeholders
