AI Cross-Marketplace Arbitrage Detection Engineer

About the role

We power pricing intelligence for over 300 sellers operating across multiple marketplaces simultaneously. The person in this role will build the system that tells them exactly where their pricing is leaving money on the table. You will design models that detect meaningful price and demand gaps for the same or comparable products across marketplaces, ranking opportunities by realistic arbitrage margin after fees and shipping. This is a high-visibility role, presenting findings directly to our largest seller accounts and shaping the roadmap for a product line that already drives a meaningful share of company revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Build models detecting cross-marketplace price and demand gaps for comparable products
  • Rank arbitrage opportunities by realistic margin after fees, shipping, and tax
  • Own the Snowflake-backed data warehouse feeding the arbitrage detection pipeline
  • Present findings and roadmap input directly to key seller accounts
  • Continuously validate detection accuracy against actual seller outcomes

Requirements

  • 6+ years in applied data science, ideally e-commerce or marketplace pricing
  • Strong SQL and Spark experience at scale
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake-based data warehousing
  • Comfortable communicating complex findings to business stakeholders
