AI Cryptocurrency Mixing Pattern Detector

About the role

We just signed our largest banking client yet, and their crypto exposure desk needs mixing-pattern detection live before their next regulatory exam. We're scaling fast and need a senior engineer who can take our existing transaction graph infrastructure and extend it to flag coin-mixing and layering patterns across blockchain and fiat rails simultaneously. You'll design the detection models, then work with our existing graph analytics team to integrate them into the same pipeline that already screens for money laundering and sanctions violations at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Design detection models for cryptocurrency mixing and layering patterns
  • Extend existing transaction graph infrastructure to cover blockchain rails
  • Partner with the graph analytics team on integration
  • Present findings to banking clients ahead of regulatory exams

Requirements

  • 6+ years in fraud, AML or financial crime analytics
  • Strong Spark and graph analytics experience
  • Familiarity with blockchain transaction analysis
  • Track record presenting to regulated financial institutions
