About the role

As a fully async team spread across 9 time zones, we believe great engineers don't need to be in the same room to ship something customers rely on daily. This contract role focuses on one thing: building an extraction pipeline that pulls renewal dates, price escalators, and auto-renewal clauses out of messy customer contracts and feeds them straight into our success team's queue. You'll work independently, with async check-ins twice a week and a clear six-month scope.

Responsibilities

  • Build extraction pipelines using LLM-based structured output parsing
  • Own accuracy benchmarking against a hand-labeled contract dataset
  • Document edge cases for future in-house maintainers
  • Ship incremental improvements on a biweekly release cadence

Requirements

  • 3+ years working with LLM-based extraction or document AI
  • Experience with LangChain and prompt engineering for structured output
  • Comfortable working async with minimal oversight
  • Available for a 6-month contract engagement
