AI Customer Data Enrichment Engineer

About the role

You'll be the fourth data engineer on our customer intelligence team, working alongside three analysts who build the health scores and expansion signals our customer success reps rely on daily. Our product ingests support tickets, usage logs, and CRM records for hundreds of B2B accounts, but a lot of that raw data arrives incomplete or inconsistent. We're looking for someone to build the enrichment layer that fills gaps, standardizes fields, and makes every downstream model more reliable. This role reports to our data engineering lead and follows a two-week sprint cadence with clear ownership over the enrichment pipeline end to end.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain data enrichment pipelines across CRM and support data
  • Standardize inconsistent fields coming from multiple source systems
  • Write ETL jobs that backfill missing account attributes
  • Collaborate with analysts to understand what fields models actually need
  • Monitor data quality metrics and resolve enrichment failures quickly

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with SQL and Python data pipelines
  • Experience with ETL tools and data warehousing (Snowflake preferred)
  • Ability to work with messy, real-world CRM data
  • Good communication with non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
