AI Customer Feedback Theme Clustering Engineer

About the role

Support tickets, app store reviews, and sales call transcripts pile up faster than any human team can read them, and the patterns hiding inside are worth real revenue. We're looking for someone to build the clustering system that groups this feedback into themes product and support teams can actually act on. You'll work with messy, unlabeled text at scale, iterating on embedding strategies and cluster quality metrics until the output is something a PM would trust in a roadmap meeting. Expect to spend real time in the data — this role rewards people who enjoy debugging a bad cluster as much as shipping a new model.

Responsibilities

  • Build and iterate on embedding-based clustering pipelines for unstructured feedback
  • Design cluster quality metrics that correlate with what product teams find useful
  • Ship weekly theme summaries into the internal product intelligence dashboard
  • Investigate misclustered feedback and retrain models to fix systematic errors

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Hugging Face embedding and classification models
  • Solid pandas and scikit-learn skills for exploratory clustering work
  • Experience evaluating unsupervised model output without clean ground truth
  • Comfort presenting findings to non-technical product stakeholders
