AI Dashboard Usage Analytics Engineer

About the role

We build embedded analytics dashboards that live inside our clients' own products, and right now we have no idea which parts of those dashboards people actually use. Fast-moving team. Big problem. We need someone who ships. This is a part-time role focused on building the usage tracking and analysis layer that tells our product team which dashboard widgets get ignored and which ones drive daily engagement. You'll work roughly 20 hours a week, reporting directly to our product lead, with real flexibility on which hours those are.

Responsibilities

  • Build usage tracking for embedded dashboard widgets
  • Analyze which widgets drive daily engagement versus which are ignored
  • Build Power BI reports summarizing usage patterns for the product team
  • Support ad-hoc data requests from product and design
  • Document tracking implementation for future engineers

Requirements

  • SQL fundamentals and comfort with Python for data analysis
  • Interest in product analytics and usage tracking
  • Power BI or similar dashboarding experience
  • Available for approximately 20 hours per week
  • 0-2 years experience welcome
